While Mo Salah and Liverpool prepare for their upcoming Champions League match in Madrid, news has emerged that Salah’s villa in Cairo was burgled while he was away in England.

The thieves stole TV sets from inside the house, but the police are currently investigating the matter.

A security source disclosed to Egypt’s Shorouk newspaper that no jewelry was taken.

There were no occupants in the villa during the time of the break-in.

Despite the setback, Salah and Liverpool face a difficult task in keeping their European hopes alive after losing 5-2 in the first leg of their last-16 tie.
