Folarin Balogun, who is currently on loan at Reims from Arsenal, has been snubbed by the England national team for their upcoming matches, which has led him to consider playing for either the USA or Nigeria instead.

Although Balogun has previously represented England at youth level, he is eligible to play for both the USA and Nigeria through his parents.

Balogun’s recent social media post suggests he is unhappy with England’s decision, and he may now be leaning towards playing for either the USA or Nigeria.

While Balogun reportedly prefers to play for the USA, he also has ties to Nigeria and is not ready to commit to either team just yet.

The USA’s caretaker coach, Anthony Hudson, has confirmed that talks are ongoing with Balogun and his team about the possibility of him playing for the US national team.

“All I’ll say, there is open dialogue with him and his team. That dialogue is continuing. That’s all I can say”.
