Napoli’s Victor Osimhen, who is known for his humility, has pledged to support people with disabilities in Africa and has acknowledged the work that Sadio Mane has done for his community.

Although Osimhen is scoring many goals in Serie A and the Champions League, he expressed his desire to assist disabled individuals in Africa during an event with the Nigerian press.

The 24-year-old is inspired by Mane’s work and hopes to create a distinct initiative that will support disabled people across Africa.

Osimhen has gained immense popularity in Naples, and he intends to strengthen his connection to his roots by supporting African communities.

The Napoli man stated (via Il Mattino) : “I am inspired by what Sadio Mane does for his people, even if mine will be a different project. He helps the Senegalese community and I want to help all the people with disabilities not just in Nigeria, but in Africa. I am ready to give life to my support project and I want to do everything in my power.”

Osimhen has scored 21 times in Serie A and four goals in the Champions League this season, including five headers.

Recently, he equalled Samuel Eto’o’s record for the most goals scored in a single season by an African player in Serie A.
