Bayern Munich have sacked head coach, Julian Nagelsmann four days after losing to Bayer Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga.
With Dortmund’s 6-1 win over Koln on Saturday, and Bayern Munich losing to Bayer Leverkusen, the Bavarian lost their first potion on the Bundesliga log after the defeat to Leverkusen.
Nagelsmann, has won 60 of his 84 games in charge (71.4 per cent) since taking over in July 2021 but only has one Bundesliga trophy and two German Super Cups to his name across his tenure.
According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, former Chelsea, PSG and Dortmund boss, Tuchel is reportedly the leading candidate to take over at the Allianz Arena.
The 49-year- old gaffer has been out of work since being sacked by Chelsea in September under the new ownership of Todd Boehly.
