Napoli’s defeat at the hands of Milan was a clear indication of how much they missed their star forward, Victor Osimhen, who was out injured.

Milan capitalized on Napoli’s lackluster performance and secured a convincing 4-0 victory. The Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, which is typically a fortress for Napoli, was instead a slaughterhouse for the Rossoneri.

Milan took the lead early on with Rafael Leao scoring in the 17th minute, and Brahim Diaz doubling their lead just eight minutes later.

Leao scored his second goal in the second half, followed by Alexis Saelemaekers making it 4-0. Despite their late efforts, Napoli failed to reduce the deficit.

Milan’s win propelled them to third place in the Serie A table, while Napoli, despite the crushing defeat, still hold onto the top spot.
