Odion Ighalo grabbed a brace as Al Hilal defeated Anthony Nwakaeme’s Al Fayha away from home 0-2 at the King Salman Sport City Stadium in the Saudi Pro League.

Ighalo scored both goals in added on time of both halves to settle the game in Al Hilal’s favour and have the fans at the stadium chanting his name.

The first goal came in the 45+1 minutes when Marega put an inch perfect pass to Michael in the box who in turn squared the ball to the Nigerian Eagle, Odion Ighalo to slot into the net and break the deadlock.

Both sides locked horns again in the second with Al Fayha trying to get back into the game with an equalizer and Al Hilal keeping them at bay.

In the 90+2 minute, Ighalo sealed the win for the visitors when Michael squared the ball to him in the middle of the box again. Ighalo fired his shot past the goalkeeper to ensure a 0-2 win.

It was a vital away win as Al Hilal (third position) have now moved within 8 points of league leaders Al Ittihad with one game in hand.
