Nigerian footballers Emmanuel Gift Orban of KAA Gent and Victor Boniface of Royale Union SG faced off in a Jupiler Pro League match that ended in a 1-1 draw at the Ghelamco Arena.

Royale Union SG took the lead with an early goal from Jean Lazare Amani, assisted by Boniface.

Despite KAA Gent’s efforts to respond, they were unable to find the back of the net before half-time.

Boniface was substituted in the 65th minute as both teams looked to bring in fresh legs.

With the away side holding onto their lead, it seemed they were heading for a win, but KAA Gent managed to level the score with a penalty from Hugo Cuypers.

Orban was also substituted shortly after the equalizer. The match ended in a draw, with both teams sharing the points.
