Zanaco, a prominent football club in the Zambian Premier League, has recently made a significant announcement regarding changes to their coaching staff.

The club has confirmed the departure of their consultant coach, Emmanuel Amuneke, as well as assistant coach Emeka Amadi and head coach Kelvin Kaindu.

This decision comes after a prolonged period of disappointing performance by the team in the league, as Zanaco has failed to secure a single victory in their last eight matches.

The club’s poor form was highlighted by their most recent defeat, a 1-0 loss against NAPSA Stars FC last weekend. As a result, Zanaco has taken the difficult decision to part ways with Amuneke, Amadi, and Kaindu in an effort to address the team’s struggles and seek a fresh approach to turn their fortunes around.

Amuneke, who was appointed as a consultant coach by Zanaco in September 2022, will be leaving the club along with his assistant, Amadi, and the head coach, Kaindu. This departure marks the end of their tenure at Zanaco and the club expressed their appreciation for their contributions while acknowledging the need for change to improve the team’s performance.

Zanaco, a former champion in the Zambian Premier League, is determined to find a solution to their current struggles and regain their winning form. The club’s management has indicated that they will be actively searching for new coaching staff to lead the team going forward, with the goal of revitalizing their campaign in the league and achieving better results on the pitch.
