Bayern Munich has announced that Sadio Mané will not be part of the squad for their upcoming match against Hoffenheim.

This decision comes as a result of Mané’s misconduct after the Champions League match against Manchester City. A statement on the club’s website cited “misbehavior” as the reason for his exclusion and mentioned that Mané will also face a fine.

“The reason is the misbehaviour of Mané after the Champions League match at Manchester City. Additionally, Mané will receive a fine,” a statement on the club’s website said.

Reports from Bild and Sky Sport revealed that Mané allegedly struck his teammate Leroy Sané in the face in the dressing room following Bayern’s 3-0 defeat. Sané was reportedly left with a bleeding lip.

Mané, who has not scored for the club since October, was present in training with his teammates on Thursday but will now be unavailable for the upcoming weekend’s game.
