Super Eagles striker, Terem Moffi scored both goals for OGC Nice including a bicycle kick in their quarter final match against Basel.
OGC Nice played to a 2-2 draw in the first leg of their quarterfinal clash against Basel in the Europa Conference League at St. Jakob Park.
Basel initially took the lead with a penalty converted by Zeki Amdouni in the 26th minute, but Terem Moffi turned the game around with two goals in the last eight minutes of the first half.
Moffi’s first goal came in the 38th minute when he calmly stroked the ball past Basel’s goalkeeper to restore parity. He then scored a sensational bicycle kick in first-half stoppage time to give Nice a 2-1 lead.
However, Amdouni secured his second goal of the game for Basel in the 71st minute with a header, equalizing the score.
Moffi, a 23-year-old Nigerian, has now scored three goals in three games in the Europa Conference League and a total of 19 goals in all competitions this season
