Super Eagles eligible, Eberechi Eze continues his impressive form as he scores in consecutive games for Crystal Palace in their 2-0 victory against Southampton at St. Mary’s.

Eze finds the back of the net twice, first capitalizing on a rebound in the 54th minute and then converting a beautiful pass in the 68th minute.

Although he narrowly misses a hat-trick in stoppage time, hitting the post, Eze’s performance adds to his impressive tally of seven goals and three assists in 31 league matches. Meanwhile, Super Eagles midfielder Joe Aribo starts his first Premier League game for Southampton since December but is substituted in the 62nd minute.

His international teammate, Paul Onuachu, replaces him but fails to make a significant impact.

With the win, Crystal Palace moves up to 12th place with 36 points, while Southampton remains at the bottom of the league table with 23 points.
