Super Eagles midfielder, Frank Onyenka came on to assist the winner as Brentford completed a comeback against Taiwo Awoniyi and Nottingham Forest.

Brentford FC made a remarkable comeback against Nottingham Forest to clinch a late victory with a goal from Josh DaSilva.

Forest, who were struggling in the relegation zone, looked set to claim a surprise win after taking the lead in added time through Danilo’s shot.

Although Brentford had dominated most of the game, they lacked the finishing touch to convert their chances into goals.

However, they managed to equalize through a well-struck free kick from Ivan Toney in the 82nd minute.

Forest’s hopes of a win were further dented when Danilo was forced off due to injury, leaving them with ten men in the final minutes of added time.

Brentford capitalized on this and grabbed a late winner, assisted by Frank Onyeka who set up DaSilva for the decisive goal.

Toney’s goal had earlier made him the second Brentford player to score 20 goals in a top-flight campaign.

Overall, it was an exciting match with both teams displaying attacking intent, but Brentford ultimately emerged victorious.
