Nigerian midfielder Alex Iwobi helped Everton salvage a point in their English Premier League match against Leicester City on Monday night with a 55th-minute equalizer.

The game saw Everton take an early lead with a penalty kick from Calvert Dominic-Lewin in the 16th minute, before Leicester’s defender Soyuncu equalized in the 22nd minute.

Jamie Vardy then gave Leicester the lead with a well-taken goal. Iwobi was at fault for Leicester’s second goal, but made amends with his equalizer.

Leicester missed a chance to take the lead into half-time when Maddison’s spot-kick was saved by Jordan Pickford.

Meanwhule, Ndidi played the first one hour of football in the match while Kelechi Iheanacho still remains injured.

The draw sees Leicester move out of the relegation zone to 16th place with 30 points, while Everton remain in 19th place with 29 points and four games remaining in the season.
