Nigeria’s U-17 national football team, the Golden Eaglets, are preparing to face a tough challenge against Morocco in their second Group B match at the 2023 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.

Morocco is currently leading the group, with Nigeria in second place.

If Nigeria wins the match, they will qualify for the quarterfinals.

However, it won’t be easy, as the Golden Eaglets’ forward, Tochukwu Ogbabido, has acknowledged the strength of the Moroccan team.

Despite the challenge, Ogbabido has expressed confidence in his team’s ability to put up a good fight and secure a win.

“Morocco is a really tough opponent and we respect them a lot. They are a good side and we saw this from their game against South Africa,” Ogbabido said to reporters.

“We will definitely step up to do our best and try to create victory because it is important for us to advance to the next round.”

The Nigerian side is hoping to clinch their third U-17 AFCON title and advance to the semifinals of the competition, which would secure their place in the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
