In Wednesday’s Serie A game at San Siro, Cremonese held AC Milan to a 1-1 draw with the help of David Okereke’s goal.
Despite coming on as a substitute for Marco Benassi in the 56th minute, Okereke managed to score in the 77th minute, stunning the hosts and putting Cremonese in the lead.
The Nigerian international has been in good form this season, having scored seven goals in 29 appearances.
AC Milan managed to salvage a draw in the dying minutes of the game through Junior Messias’ goal in the 93rd minute.
Despite the draw, Okereke’s performance will be remembered as a highlight of the match.
