Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper has confirmed that Emmanuel Dennis will not feature in their upcoming match against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge due to a minor injury.

The Super Eagles winger was absent from Forest’s recent victory over Southampton and it has been revealed that he sustained the injury during training prior to that game. Cooper did not provide further details regarding the nature of the injury or the timeline for Dennis’ return to action.

“Dennis has been injured, I don’t think I mentioned it. Before the last game he picked up a knock in training in preparation for Southampton so he’s still not available,” Cooper stated during his pre-match press conference.

Dennis has been a regular player for Forest this season, featuring in eighteen Premier League matches and contributing to four goals (2 goals, 2 assists).
