German multinational manufacturing designer brand, PUMA, sent a private jet to fly Nigerian Afrobeats Superstar, Davido to watch Manchester City’s match against Chelsea at the Etihad.

The Citizens were crowned champions without kicking a ball, as Arsenal lost to Forest on Saturday. Thanks to a first half strike by former Liverpool and Union Berlin striker, Taiwo Awoniyi.

The result means City are able to lift the title in front of a packed Etihad Stadium after today’s game against Chelsea.

Man City’s kit designer, PUMA, released their home kit for the 2023/24 Premier League season on Twitter and Davido quoted the tweet “Hmmm. Looking like the jersey of champions ! 👀👀 Love to see it ! #PumaFam”. Wrote the singer as a reaction to PUMA’s unveiling of the New Jersey.

Responding to Davido’s tweet, the handler tweeted : “Thanks 001, TIMELESS like you. What about joining us at the @ManCity match tomorrow?”

In return, Davido requested a private jet and the brand replied “Say No More”.

Few minutes later, the superstar musician updated his millions of followers as he shared a photo of him flying to Manchester.

Pep Guardiola could make a few key changes to his team today, knowing they’ve won the league and to rest them for the Champions League final against Inter Milan and FA Cup final against Manchester United.

“Let me win the first two,” said Guardiola when asked about City’s chance of winning the treble. “In the Premier League we are close. We know we need one more game and I would say we play against our neighbours (Manchester United) and against an Italian team (Inter Milan) in the finals. The season is really, really good, now we have to lift it. We are close and of course we are going to try.
